No. ShowMindy is designed to complement literacy instruction and other support, not replace it. It helps people navigate the everyday information they need to understand while they continue building longer-term skills.
Who is ShowMindy for?+
ShowMindy is especially useful for adults with reading challenges, English-language learners, newcomers navigating unfamiliar systems, and anyone who benefits from clearer explanations.
Does someone have to know what question to ask?+
No. ShowMindy can first explain what it sees. From there, the user can ask follow-up questions naturally.
What does becoming an Impact Partner involve?+
Mostly helping people discover the app. Introduce ShowMindy to learners or clients who may benefit, make sure your staff knows about it, and share feedback when you have it.
Is user feedback required?+
No. We welcome feedback from staff and users, but participation is optional.
What devices does ShowMindy support?+
ShowMindy is currently available free on iPhone.
Does ShowMindy support multiple languages?+
Yes. Users can choose the language they’re most comfortable with. It currently supports ten languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese.
